Your Guide to Opening a Bank Account

Account Opening Requirements:
- Completed account opening form
- Copy of National ID (metal/plastic), driver's license or valid passport
- Proof of residential address in the form of ZESA/Water/Tel One bill within 3 months in one's own name. Where utility bill is in the name of another person, e.g. father or spouse, proof of relationship is required, e.g. birth certificate or marriage certificate
- Confirmation letter from your employer
- Proof of income
- Two (2) passport size photos
- Proof of change of name, where name has changed (e.g. marriage certificate)
- Initial deposit $
How to Open an account
MyZB Mobile Application
- Download and register on the MyZB mobile application.
- Login and navigate to personal banking.
- Select “Open New Account” option and follow the steps required.
